RDP connection always dropped in Win7

The Siemens modem/router is connected to the ADSL line, my PC is connected to the router via Ethernet (CAT5e) cable.

first things to do is to check if you can successfully connect to this computer from another computer.

5.3 If you are using Wi-Fi Access Point for RDP connection on your phone, please fill up the following information.
5.3.1. Are you able to use the same Wi-Fi Access Point to browse Internet on your phone? Yes
5.3.2. Do you have correct configuration on Wi-Fi router regarding possible traffic restriction for this phone? Yes

6. Description of the problem.

Make 3 attempts to reproduce this problem and provide following information for each attempt.
6.2.1. Attempt #1. Error Message Text: RDP connection dropped , Decimal Code: N/A , Hexadecimal: N/A , seconds before Error Message appears: 65 .
6.2.2. Attempt #2. Error Message Text: RDP connection dropped , Decimal Code: N/A , Hexadecimal: N/A , seconds before Error Message appears: 80 .
6.2.3. Attempt #3. Error Message Text: RDP connection dropped , Decimal Code: N/A , Hexadecimal: N/A , seconds before Error Message appears: 73 .

6.3. If there is no Error Message appearance related to this problem.
Make 3 attempts to reproduce this problem and check time before appearance of the problem.

Within the 1 minute's time, I'm able to see the login page of my PC's Windows 7, I enter the password and login successfully. After I play around with exploring my files in my hard disks etc (nothing significant that could be causing the issue), the connection is always dropped, it says "RPD connection dropped" and the program returns to the state it was just before connecting to my PC. I tried to reduce the MTU limit for Win7 from 1500 to 1420 then dropped it much more to 700. Neither one worked. The connection is dropped either way.

Thank you for providing the detailed description.

Please do the following.

1. Uninstall SymRDP from your phone.
2. Download the latest SymRDP version from www.telexy.com
3. Install SymRDP on your phone.
4. Open Internet in your phone browser and visit whatismyip.com. Write down shown IP address (it will say: "Your IP Address Is:...").
Visit this page: wwp.greenwichmeantime.com and write from that page the current Date and Time.
Keep Internet Browser open on your phone.
5. Start SymRDP and register Trial license while using the same access point that was used in p.4 for Internet connection.
6. Test SymRDP connection with your Windows 7 computer.
7. Let us know the result. If you still have that problem, please contact our customer support and send to us the details that you have written in p.4. and we will check if you are getting Demo or Trial license.

Works properly now
Thank you, it works perfectly now. The RDP connection is stable. I have noticed however, that I have some sort of trouble double-clicking items on my desktop properly. I'm using my thumb for this, not the stylus to be precise. I'm using right-handed mouse mode.

EDIT: Sorry admins, my mistake. I accidentally started a new thread instead of replying in my existing one...

Good. There are always some advantages of using the latest available version downloaded directly from developers website.

Is this specific for double-click only and the single click work just fine on the same items?
Are these desktop items located in some specific areas of the screen, like sides or corners? Probably you may try to re-calibrate the touchscreen on your phone. For more information  about re-calibration you may have a look at SymRDP FAQ.

Yes, the single click works just fine. Drag 'n drop works fine as well. I'm talking about the whole screen, not sides or corners in particular. Whenever I try to double-click any item located anywhere on the screen, it just behaves as if I tapped it twice with a single click. As if I'm taking too much time between the clicks, which I'm not.

Nokia 5800 is a phone with resistive touch screen and this screen works well with stylus and not so good with thumb.
Current SymRDP version is optimised for stylus usage.
Contact area is set probably somewhere around 10x10 pixels. We have tried to use a bigger area and in this case double click with thumb will work better, but at the same time will appear problem with "Drag and Drop". So, some compromise is needed. That is why we are advising to use stylus if there are any problems with thumb usage on touch screen.
Also it is possible to get good result with fingernail usage on resistive touch screen.
