- Troubleshooting SymPlayer 1.00.xx. Template ver.1.03 from 2010/Apr/14.


1.1.1. Phone Model: Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
1.1.2. Phone firmware version: 50.0.005
1.1.3. The latest officially available firmware version for this phone: 50.0.005
1.1.4. First 10 digits of your phone IMEI number: 35827903 (these are the first 8)
1.1.5. Last 2 digits of your phone IMEI number: 1 (this is the last digit)

The other digits are unique to my phone, and hence not relevant

1.2.1. From which site SymPlayer is downloaded from? telexy.com
1.2.2. Did you successfully install SymPlayer on your phone? Yes
1.2.3. What is the exact SymPlayer version, including build number? 1.0 build 25
1.2.4. In my case SymPlayer is working in the following mode: Trial

Decimal Code, Hexadecimal code (see in "Details") and amount of seconds before Error Message appears.
Make 3 attempts to reproduce this problem and provide following information for each attempt.
7.1. Attempt #1. Error Message Text: Unknown error, Dec. Code: -19, Hex. code: 0xffffffed, seconds before Error Message appears: 5.

8. Provide detailed and exact description of the problem. The detailed description usually contains more than 3 lines of text.

I open the application, click 'browse', I select 'network', then i select my WLAN, and the error is shown. If i choose my neighbour's wireless, i get the same error. I have created additional WLAN profiles with no encryption, and I get the same problem. I can see the phone associate with the access point, but it is never assigned an IP address.

Thank you for providing a detailed description of the problem.
Usually for each problem we are opening a special case and one of required field is IMEI number. For posts on the forum, we have limited it to first 10 and last 2 digits.

I understand that you have the right to decide what is relevant to this case or is not relevant.
On the other hand, we have learned from our experience of investigations such as these situations that we do need to have either full IMEI number or 10 first and last 2 digits.
If you prefer do not post it on the forum, you may send this information to our customer support Email with reference to this thread.

Please use this subject line in your Email message: "SymPlayer thread on Telexy forum. Unknown error 19."
In meantime please download the latest SymPlayer version directly from www.telexy.com and install it on your phone. Then check and see if situation is changed.
