alternate portnumber doesn't work

Hello,

I am trying to get SymRDP to work with an alternate portnumber.
I have tried both : and , as seperator (: is mentioned in the manual).
But they just won't work, I receive an error: "transport channel open failure".

I know the RDP sessions work, because I use the same method from my desktop computer.

issue resoled, I was using the 'ALWAYS ASK' method.

next question: Is there a way to secure SYMRDP, so if someone steels my phone, the can't acces RDP.
Normaly I wouldn't set passwords in the device for the RDP connections, but my passwords have a _ symbol in it, which is not present on the SYMRDP keyboard.
On my N97, I have to press the 'SYM' button for it, but when I do that, SYMRDP thinks I press the CANCEL button on the login screen.

Ok, it is good to know that you have solved problem with using alternative port number, just keep in mind the following: SymRDP v.1.00.47 is not supporting usage of alternative port number bigger than 32767.

About entering "_".
Please have a look at presented below YouTube video made by one of SymRDP users.

at 1:32 it shows Windows XP login screen on Nokia 5800 phone.
at 1:35 user activated virtual keyboard embedded in SymRDP by pressing on the central icon on top part of the screen.
at 1:38 user switched mode from "abc" to "123" on this virtual keyboard by clicking at button on lower right corner.
at 1:40 user is entering password by typing digits on the virtual keyboard. In this "digital mode" on virtual keyboard the underlining character "_" can be entered as well.

This underlining character "_" is just not shown on picture for the button on the virtual keyboard. It is well known story, it is fixed and ready to be included for the next version. This case is considered as a minor problem, that is why there is no rush with new version. Usually we do not announce in advance our plans for new versions. 
 
Underlining character "_"  is located on the second from left button on top row if virtual keyboard is switched into "digital mode". 
However, this underlining character "_" is not presented on the picture for this button as only the "dash line" character "-" is shown here. 
By pressing on this button regular way will be produced this "dash line", i.e. "-". 
If you will press "Shift" before pressing that button, then will be produced underlining character "_". 
All is exactly the same way as with similar button on regular computer keyboard.
